El curso en línea de Capacitación sobre la salud bucal de Mamás y Bebés con Sonrisas Sanas de Texas es gratuito para los visitantes domiciliarios y otros trabajadores de salud comunitaria de primera línea que atienden a mujeres embarazadas, bebés y niños pequeños. La capacitación combina información sobre salud bucal con técnicas de conversación para llevar a cabo platicas eficaces sobre la salud bucal centradas en la familia. Cada módulo incluye actividades de reflexión y videos que orientan sobre cómo guiar una conversación sobre salud bucal con las familias.
El curso de Capacitación sobre salud bucal para visitantes domiciliarios es una adaptación del programa Healthy Smiles for Mom and Baby de Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin, a quienes agradecemos su colaboración y por haber desarrollado esa capacitación.

The Texas Smiles for Moms and Babies - Oral Health Training is a free online course for home visitors and other frontline community health workers working with pregnant women, infants and toddlers. The training combines oral health information with conversation techniques for effective family-centered oral health discussions. Each module includes reflection activities and videos demonstrating how to guide an oral health discussion with families.
This course was adapted from the Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin’s – Healthy Smiles for Mom and Baby – Oral Health Training for Home Visitors. We would like to thank them for the development of the training and for their partnership.
