This page is the one-stop location for all current and future training intended to give participants an understanding of TVFC compliance requirements. Providers operating in compliance are able to safely and effectively vaccinate more patients while experiencing less vaccine loss than providers who are not operating in compliance. 

To begin this training, select the blue book icon below to navigate to the "Course Description of 2025 TVFC/ASN Provider Policy Training Book." 

To navigate through each course section, select "Next Activity." Participants must complete each activity in sequential order. 

For accessibility features, this training is available in a video and PDF format. Participants may choose to complete the training in either format to best accommodate their needs.

NOTE: Participants may notice the dashboard indicates a 50% completion rate when finished. This is due to the different formats available for this training; However, upon receiving the certificate of completion, the training is 100% complete.

Participants must complete the evaluation survey to access the final assessment. A score of 80% must be earned on the final assessment to earn the certificate of completion. An unlimited number of attempts is allowed to complete the assessment.

The certificate of completion must be saved and presented to DSHS Immunization program upon request.

This module explains how Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) and Adult Safety Net (ASN) providers access The Vaccine Allocation and Ordering System (VAOS). The VAOS is a place for providers to manage their ordering, administration, waste, transfers and other vaccination details. This module also includes several instructional videos to help providers navigate the different functions available in VAOS, including the open ordering process.
